Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in hospital/physician practice customer service (ED preferred).
• Prior registration experience in Emergency Department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and gather demographic and insurance information.
• Verify insurance and collect out-of-pocket liability at time of service.
• Enter orders and confirm medical necessity for outpatient visits.
• Rotate across registration and ED points of service.
