Job summary

You will use multiple healthcare systems to schedule appointments, process records, and resolve discrepancies while communicating financial responsibilities and collecting payments. A high school diploma or GED and 1 year of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required at hire.
• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or patient access preferred.
• Strong communication and HIPAA privacy knowledge essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Knowledge of health insurance payers and real-time eligibility verification.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify insurance eligibility.
• Maintain confidential documentation in electronic health records.
• Schedule appointments and process medical records.
• Resolve registration or insurance discrepancies and communicate liabilities.
• Collect payments and provide clear financial estimates to patients.
• Answer inquiries, route calls, and support a professional front-office environment.
