Responsibilities

• Maintains a thorough understanding of the Registration modules in the Hospital Information System and Document Imaging System to pre-register and register patients with high accuracy.
• Ability to interpret insurance information and insurance cards.
• Demonstrates proper use of software applications to carry out duties, including chart repository and order repository.
• Process patient payments and explain financial responsibility, including good faith estimates and payment plans.
