Job summary

Adventist Health Ukiah Valley is looking for a Patient Access Representative for Day Shift, Full-time regular, 8 Hours. We are looking for a great individual who can work onsite at our location in Ukiah, CA.

Responsible for timely and accurate patient registration, interviews patients for all pertinent account information, verifies insurance and collects patient liability amounts, ensures signatures are obtained for treatment, and coordinates with units to prepare tests and paperwork.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Check physician orders and attach them to the patient medical record to ensure patients receive appropriate tests.
• Verify insurance and enter authorization information accurately as needed.
• Follow guidelines and instructions from senior staff.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
