Qualifications

• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Check physician orders and attach them to patient medical records to ensure appropriate tests.
• Verify insurance and manage authorizations with correct plan.
• Explain policies clearly and answer questions.
• Escort patients to their area or refer to available escort as needed.
• Print and collate paperwork for patient distribution to units/departments.
• Ensure that signatures are obtained for treatment.

Education

HS/GED preferred

AA/Technical degree preferred
