Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-2 years medical office/registration experience preferred.
• PPO/HMO/Medicaid payor knowledge preferred.
• Bi-lingual English plus Spanish or Vietnamese preferred.
• Basic computer and MS Office skills required.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients for procedures, admissions, outpatient and ER visits in a timely, accurate manner.
• Verifies demographics and insurance information to ensure proper identification and billing.
• Collects and posts patient payments; drops cash in the safe promptly.
• Delivers excellent customer service to patients, families, clinicians, and coworkers.
