Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA within one year of hire.
• Medical terminology and coding knowledge.
• 2+ years hospital registration or insurance verification experience.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for outpatient and/or inpatient services and verify insurance.
• Collect patient financial liability and ensure Medicare and payer requirements.
• Provide general information to patients, families, and physician offices.
• Analyze data and prepare reports; distribute analytical reports.
• Maintain knowledge of laws, Trinity Health policies, and compliance standards.
