• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management required.
• Working knowledge of Registration systems, Medicare/Medicaid/Third Party Liability/Workers Compensation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations relating to registering accounts and collecting at point of service.
• Excellent negotiating and analytical skills; strong verbal and written communication; interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Scheduling, pre-certifying, checking medical necessity, and pre-registering patients for appointments and procedures.
• Obtains and verifies patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and benefits for scheduling.
• Informing patients and clinical staff of preparation instructions for tests and procedures.
• Communicates revenue cycle policies, estimates, and payment options to patients.
• Ensures accurate estimates and timely processing of accounts; handles denials with front end strategies.
• Supports contract management and collaborates with the business office on estimates and reimbursements.
