Job summary

Tenet Healthcare's Conifer Health is seeking a Patient Access representative at Nacogdoches Medical Center to perform scheduling, registration, pre-admission and admission tasks, gather patient demographics, and explain consent forms.

You will ensure accurate information, assist with insurance verification and authorizations, and support cash collection per policies, working Monday to Friday days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year in a Customer Service role.
• 0–1 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred
• Some college coursework is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, register at date of service, and explain hospital and patient forms clearly.
• Educate patients on financial liabilities and collect payments per policies.
• Verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and coordinate post-discharge care when needed.
