Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Full-Time Days Patient Access Rep II to join our Financial Clearance team at Southbank Plaza. You will register patients accurately, use multiple systems, and cross-train to support division coverage.

The role requires a high school diploma, offers 9:00am–5:30pm weekdays, on-call rotations, travel within a four-facility region, and a sign-on bonus up to $1,000. Exceptional service and HIPAA compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required.
• Ability to register patients accurately and efficiently.
• Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and efficiently.
• Use multiple systems and interfaces.
• Cross-train to work in multiple patient access areas.
• Maintain service excellence for patients and visitors.
• Understand State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• On-call week-long rotations and rotating schedules.
• Travel to assignments within a region containing 4 Baptist facilities.
