Job summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Full-Time Days Patient Access Representative II at our Southbank Plaza location in Jacksonville, FL. You will support the Specialty Contact Center, handling patient registrations and inquiries in a call-center environment.

You will use multiple systems, maintain privacy per HIPAA, and stay informed on EMTALA/AHCA/JCAHO regulations while contributing to annual PAS goals in a professional team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or higher) required.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize multiple systems and interfaces to access patient information.
• Be cross-trained to work in multiple patient access areas.
• Maintain service excellence for patients and visitors in face-to-face and telephonic encounters.
• Contribute to PAS goals as defined annually.
• Understand State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
