Qualifications

• Complete and pass the Patient Access training course.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented, organized, team player with strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, AHCA, EMTALA and Medicare rules.
• Bilingual English, Spanish or Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and timely processing within the department/practice/hospital.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance requirements, pricing, and financial assistance options.
• Support Baptist Health South Florida Revenue Cycle operations with accuracy and service orientation.
