You will serve as patient-facing support within the Patient Access Department, ensuring accounts are complete with valid insurance and current demographic data, calculating patient financial responsibility, presenting options, and processing payments.

Experience in healthcare revenue cycle or related clerical roles is valued; Epic experience and HFMA certifications are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle, or Clinical role, or related clerical accounting/finance/retail/customer service.
• 3 years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred.
• Prior Epic experience preferred.
• Certification with HFMA preferred or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred.

Aufgaben

• Serves as patient facing support for the Patient Access Department within Piedmont Healthcare. Ensures patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic/clinical data.
• Calculates patient financial responsibility, presents patient financial options/requirements and processes patient payments.
• Secures patient consent and acknowledgement on required forms/notices.
