Responsibilities

• Capture and document patient demographics, insurance and contact information in the EHR.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; determine patient responsibility and financial counseling needs.
• Educate patients on billing processes and document payment information.
• Complete registration processes accurately and timely; ensure patient satisfaction.
• Maintain familiarity with all systems used in patient registration and billing.
