The specialist will collect demographic and insurance details, assist with payments, and use the EMR and practice management systems to ensure timely, compliant patient processing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 3 years of experience in medical practice or revenue cycle.
• Ability to verify demographics and insurance information accurately.
• Experience with EMR and scheduling processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and release medical information per OSHA/HIPAA.
• Verify patient demographics and current insurance.
• Collect co-pays and balances with accuracy.
• Enter patient data into EMR and maintain records.
• Provide empathetic customer service to patients and families.
• Coordinate referrals and test scheduling as needed.
