Job summary

Reedsburg Area Medical Center seeks a Patient Access Specialist for our Physician’s Group Clinic. Expect Monday–Friday, 7AM–5PM with possible weekends, delivering friendly check-in, scheduling, and information entry to keep the clinic running smoothly.

You will handle clerical tasks, maintain accurate patient data, and support reception duties while providing a positive, efficient patient experience in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong grammar and punctuation.
• Ability to work independently and use available resources.
• Basic computer knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient check-in and scheduling at the Physician’s Group Clinic.
• Gather and accurately enter patient information; perform clerical and reception duties.
• Help maintain a welcoming and efficient patient experience at the clinic.

RAMC is looking for a Patient Access Specialist to join us!

This position would be at our Specialty Group Clinic!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7AM - 5PM with possible weekends

What you'll do:

As a Patient Access Specialist, you’ll help create a welcoming and efficient experience for patients visiting our Physician’s Group Clinic. You’ll assist with patient check-in and scheduling, gather and accurately enter patient information, and perform a variety of clerical and reception duties to help keep the clinic running smoothly.

Education and Training Required:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
  

Experience:

• Experience working in a hospital or other medical environment is preferred.
  

Special knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Good organizational Skills
• Good Time Management
• Excellent hand-written and oral communication skills, grammar, punctuation, and style
• Ability to work independently
• Resourceful; is aware of and utilizes the available resources
• Basic Computer knowledge
