Job summary

AssistRx is hiring for roles in Patient Access and Customer Service. The team works with healthcare providers and payers to verify insurance coverage, assist with coding and billing questions, and support prior authorizations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Gather patient insurance information and coverage details for pharmaceuticals.
  • Answer questions from providers and payers regarding coding, billing, and reimbursement.
  • Document patient benefits, cost shares, and access options.
  • Process prior authorizations for caseload and support appeals as needed.
  • Act as liaison between field staff, providers, and patients to ensure timely access to medication.

Patient Access and Customer Service Rep

This role works directly with healthcare providers & insurance plans/payers to gather information about a patient’s insurance and the coverage provided for a specific pharmaceutical product. The Patient Access Specialist will support the healthcare providers addressing questions regarding coding and billing and navigating complex reimbursement issues. This position also provides support for Prior Authorizations(PA) for an assigned caseload and helps navigate the appeals process to access medicatio
