Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred.
• Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred.
• Two years' healthcare experience: Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and schedules patient care for wellness programs and facilitates communication between scheduling staff and care teams.
• Answers telephone inquiries regarding physician referrals and covers front desk duties when needed; maintains patient scheduling database.
• Collaborates with Patient Financial Services to obtain authorizations and submits documentation for retro-authorization as needed; files and appeals denials of services.
• Develops monthly wellness communications, updates the website, and creates promotional flyers; participates in training and performs other duties as assigned.
