MedCura Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative to support front-desk operations in Atlanta. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure a smooth patient experience from arrival through visit completion.

Responsibilities include patient check-in, eligibility verification, scheduling, payment processing, and maintaining accurate EHR records in line with HIPAA and privacy standards. This is a full-time, day-shift on-site position with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or front-office settings is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and office software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors upon arrival and provide clear direction as needed.
• Register patients and verify information including insurance details and required documentation.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to help maintain timely operations.
• Answer incoming calls, address general inquiries, and provide information about available services.
• Process patient payments and issue receipts for completed transactions.
• Maintain accurate records in the EHR system in accordance with organizational standards.
• Ensure compliance with privacy and security requirements including HIPAA and related regulations.
