Banner Health Corporate is seeking a Patient Financial Services Representative to coordinate patient flow, register patients, verify insurance, and guide patients through financial policies. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in patient financial services or insurance processes.
• Ability to multitask with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with office software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and Arizona Criminal History Affidavit may be required.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients and checks in, collects information and signatures, and posts data.
• Verifies insurance benefits and assists with pre-certifications and authorizations.
• Calculates patient liability and explains financial policies and payment options.
• Enters payments and reconciles daily transactions, balancing the cash drawer.
• Schedules appointments and aligns visits with payor plan requirements; confirms next-day visits.
• Answers patient inquiries via phone, email, or in person to maintain flow and service quality.
• Supports patient records requests and handles simple information release.
• Assists with patient flow tasks such as escorting patients and handling ancillary duties.
• Works independently in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing care and compliance.
