Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Patient Services Registrar at the Deer Valley Medical Office Building in Phoenix, AZ. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and families, coordinating scheduling, registration, and patient flow across central Phoenix, NE Phoenix, and Scottsdale areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in scheduling and/or registration in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Acts as first point of contact to all customers.
• Organizes and facilitates clerical administrative duties of department.
• Performs cross‑functional clerical and patient support duties including telephone, registration, scheduling and data entry.
• Responsible for patient chart maintenance and communication with physicians' offices as needed.
• Directs all information to appropriate individual.
• Orients patients to the department with directions and instructions.
• Performs scheduling for procedures and tracks no‑shows.
• Performs registration duties, collects co‑pays and insurance authorizations, and billing as applicable.
