Day Kimball Health in Danielson, CT is hiring a Pre-Certification Registration Clerk for the Physical Medicine department. This full-time role (40 hours/week) requires greeting patients, collecting demographics and insurance information, and collecting co-pays for outpatient PT/OT/SLP services.

You will handle pre-certifications, registrations, and scheduling, with clerical duties and interactions with patients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.
• Minimum of one year clerical experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interview patients to collect demographics and insurance information.
• Collect co-pays per visit for outpatient Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology services.
• Perform insurance pre-certification duties, registration and reception duties.
• Schedule patients for the Physical Medicine Department services.
• Maintain accurate records and confidentiality; perform related clerical duties.
