The position requires an Associate's Degree in Health Administration and prior experience with patient access or healthcare administration. Monday–Friday hours are 9:15 am–5:15 pm.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Health Administration or equivalent required.
• Experience with patient registration and scheduling systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients during the registration process.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance information into the EHR system.
• Schedule patient appointments across departments and confirm details.
• Verify patient contact information and appointment specifics.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility accuracy.
• Collaborate with billing to address insurance-related issues.
• Inform patients about registration steps, finances, and payment options.
• Maintain clear communication and address patient questions.
• Review data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience by reducing wait times.
