Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Registration & Scheduler for Next Era Spine Care in the Phoenix area. The role serves as the first point of contact, handling registration, scheduling, and patient support tasks within the department.

You will manage routine administrative duties, collaborate with physicians' offices, and ensure accurate data entry and chart maintenance to support efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in healthcare related field or scheduling/registration experience preferred.
• 2 years in healthcare related experience including scheduling/registration preferred.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required or within seven working days after employment.
• BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers; answer calls; direct information to appropriate staff.
• Provide imaging support duties; transfer calls; retrieve images from PACS; support patient workflow.
• Schedule procedures and appointments; track no-shows; communicate with physicians as needed.
• Perform registration duties; gather signatures; complete daily data entry and file management.
• Obtain authorizations from insurance companies; collect co-pays; handle deposits and billing when applicable.
• Maintain patient charts and coordinate with medical records and billing departments.
• Process daily emails and relay pertinent information to supervisors.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies and place orders as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
