North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator to support the organization’s revenue cycle by handling demographic and insurance information, scheduling, pre-certification, pre-registration, and patient communications. The role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

You will coordinate patient flow, assist with estimates and payment options, ensure HIPAA compliance, and interface with internal and external stakeholders to minimize denials

Formación

• Working knowledge of Registration systems and patient data collection.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation.
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and patient privacy requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule, pre-certify, pre-register patients for appointments and tests.
• Obtain and verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Inform patients about test preparation and appointment details.
• Communicate financial policies, estimates, and payment options to patients.
• Assist in minimizing denials and collaborating with billing and departments.
