Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a part-time evening-shift position in Rockford, IL. The role involves outpatient and inpatient registration, insurance verification, and collecting patient financial liability, with training during the initial two weeks.

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service experience, required.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Data entry skills (50 to 60 keystrokes per minute).
• Basic computer skills.
• HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one year of hire.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customers.
• Accuracy and attentiveness to detail and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient focused customer service.
• Perform outpatient & inpatient registration & insurance verification functions.
• Collect patient financial liability payments & ensure patients meet financial requirements including Medicare medical necessity, payer pre-certifications & referrals.
• Provide general information to hospital users, patients, families & physician offices.

Week 1: Monday 3p-9p, Wednesday 3p-9p, Thursday 3p-9p, Saturday 2p-10p

Week 2: Sunday 3p-11p, Monday 3p-9p, Wednesday 3p-9p, thursday 3p-9p

Week 3: Monday 3p-9p, Wednesday 3p-9p, Thursday 3p-11:30p, Friday 3p-9p

• Training: The first two weeks of training are M-F, 8a-430pm must be able to attend this*

What you will do:
