Job summary

Team1Medical in Houston, TX seeks a Patient Access Representative to support scheduling and verify eligibility in a call-center style workflow. This temporary in-office role offers competitive pay and benefits through Team1Medical.

The position requires accurate data entry, teamwork, and adherence to medical necessity policies. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years in scheduling/patient access within clinics, experience with EMR, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Two years of Scheduling/Patient Access experience in a clinic/physician office setting.
• Experience with EMR and Insurance Verification preferred.
• Must have completed a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments.
• Verified eligibility.
• Post payments into patient accounts.
• Ensure all medical necessity compliance are completed.
• Performs daily clerical duties, including sending faxes, making copies, and assisting in other areas.
