Frye Regional Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking a Patient Access Representative (Full-Time) to support the physician practice by handling scheduling, registration, and admission processes. The role requires greeting patients, checking in/out, managing calls, and collecting co-pays and balances.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), strong critical thinking, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a busy environment.

The Patient Services Representative facilitates the patient referral process and obtains appropriate pre-certifications as requested by the provider(s). They are responsible for greeting patients; check-in, check-out, scheduling and managing telephones and messages. Collects and posts co-pays, deductibles and past due patient balances at the time of service.
