Join Our Team as a Patient Access Representative!
What You’ll Do (a.k.a. Your Superpowers):
- Be the first friendly face at check-in for hospital or clinic patients
- Collect and update patient info (demographics, insurance, signatures)
- Verify insurance & eligibility, process co-pays, deductibles, and more
- Answer calls like a pro - whether it's urgent, routine, or "just need directions"
- Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments with accuracy
- Send clear, professional messages to providers & teammates
- Help with scanning, filing, faxing, and other clerical tasks (because details matter!)
- Serve as a resource for patients and your coworkers, and train new teammates
- Pitch in with quality improvement projects and cross-train with other departments

Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a fast-paced clinic setting preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent skills in organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent interpersonal and technical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain diverse technical problems in easy-to-understand language
- Strong independent judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and EHR experience
- Ability to maintain composure under stressful situations
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of job performance
