Astera Health in Wadena (MN) seeks a Patient Access Representative for the Wadena Clinic. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, primarily onsite with occasional travel to satellite clinics as staffing requires.

• Requests payments on accounts, prints receipts, and reconciles daily cash drawer.
• Opens and closes the office for clinic security.

This position would primarily be located at our Wadena clinic, with the the occasional travel to the satellite clinics based on staffing needs. Be a role model of Astera Health culture and core values.3. Receives patients and visitors and ascertains their needs to assist them using a caring a professional manner.4. Secures demographic and financial information from patients or family; obtains necessary signatures and enters information into the electronic health record to complete the registration process.5. Schedules clinic appointments and maintains provider clinic schedules.6. Floats to other patient access department locations to cover when necessary.7. Operates telephone console using a caring and professional manner to assist callers, answers questions and transfers calls to correct departments when appropriate.8. Requests and receives payments on accounts and prints receipts; reconciles and compiles daily cash drawer.9. Completes and submits supply requisitions to keep current stock of necessary supplies and forms.10. Opens and closes office for clinic security.**Core Competencies:**1.
