Job Responsibilities
  • Greet and direct patients, providing information and assistance using AIDET principles.
  • Accurately register patients, verify insurance and demographics, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Explain and secure consent for registration and financial forms.
  • Collect patient cost sharing and reconcile cash drawer.
  • Obtain precertification for applicable services and verify insurance information.
  • Schedule appointments, minimize no-shows, and optimize reimbursement.
  • Maintain quality and productivity standards, and participate in training and team activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive patient experience.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Certification in Non-Aggressive Crisis Management (must be obtained during orientation).
  • Completion of Patient Access – General Consent Orientation and Financial Experience Training within 30 days of hire.

Preferred:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA).
  • Bilingual abilities in Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic, or other languages.
