Now Hiring: Site Foreman | Chicago Metro Area (Remote + Field-Based)

AlffCo is on the hunt for a Site Foreman who’s ready to step onto job sites not just as a skilled tradesperson—but as a leader. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, know your way around commercial remodels and renovations (not ground-up), and lead crews with confidence and clarity, we want to hear from you.

️ Location: Remote-based, but must reside in the greater Chicago metro area

️ Travel: 50%+ with some overnight stays as needed

What You’ll Do:

Lead by example as a working foreman—skilled in trades like carpentry, plumbing, painting, and more

Supervise subcontractors and crews on commercial remodel and renovation projects

Ensure safety, quality, and timelines are met on every job

Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients and internal teams

Coordinate materials, resolve job site challenges, and manage documentation

What We’re Looking For:

️ 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, facility maintenance, or renovation projects (focused on remodels/renovations)

️ Proven leadership experience overseeing crews, Site Foremen, and subcontractors on projects between $50,000–$150,000

️ Strong understanding of project management principles: scheduling, budgeting, and quality control

️ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical documents

️ Familiarity with building codes, permitting processes, and regulatory compliance

️ Proficient in construction materials, troubleshooting on-site issues, and trade techniques

️ Experience managing multiple projects while staying on track with budgets and timelines

️ Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills

️ Proficiency with work order management systems, mobile apps, and project tracking

️ Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred (Not Required):

7+ years of experience in commercial remodeling or renovation supervision

Experience managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously

Familiarity with contract negotiation, material procurement, and vendor management

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification (strongly preferred)

Budget forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting experience

Computer Skills Needed:

️ Quick learner with new database programs

️ Basic working knowledge of Salesforce

️ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint
