Responsibilities
  1. Greet patients, communicate with departments, schedule appointments, answer phones, receive payments, verify records, and provide information to patients about clinic services.
  2. Politely greet patients, inform departments of arrivals, oversee waiting area, and organize patient flow.
  3. Answer phones promptly and assist patient needs efficiently.
  4. Use EMR to generate billing information, verify and update patient data, collect copays, obtain signatures, complete paperwork, and manage insurance data.
  5. Manage coding activities and distribute charge tickets to billing.
  6. Obtain referral info, schedule surgeries, outpatient visits, and admissions.
  7. Handle medical records, prepare charts, and assist with clerical tasks.
  8. Coordinate service requests, maintain clinic equipment, and inform administrators of operational issues.
  9. Manage mail functions, order supplies, and supervise staff development.
  10. Assist patients with insurance, home healthcare, and medical equipment questions.
  11. Plan and coordinate office activities, ensuring efficient clinic operations.
Qualifications
  1. Education: High school diploma required.
  2. Experience: Minimum 1 year clinic experience preferred.
  3. Skills: Proficiency with computer programs and EMR systems.

Pay Range
