WORK SHIFT: First Shift (United States of America)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for placing inventory into stock, picking orders for delivery, timely and accurate delivery to manufacturing departments, loading and unloading IPT trailers, housekeeping, inventory control and product put away.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Learn products and the location of the inventory within the facility.
2. Put away raw material in receiving location to rack locations.
3. Pick and deliver raw material to production areas.
4. Pick and issue raw material/tools within the Tool Crib.
5. Complete all necessary Prism transactions.
6. Maintain vehicle properly and furnish vehicle operation report attached to MOS documents.
7. Report and record damage to product and/or Cambro property.
8. Load and unload IPT trailers by hand or by use of a hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, or dolly.
9. Pad, stack, and secure items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipments.
10. Responsible for assisting receiving with various functions performed in that area.
11. Report out-of-stock items to Inventory Control Supervisor.
12. Maintain the warehouse so it is clean, organized, and safe for all employees.
13. Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
14. Execute each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform job successfully.
15. Follow all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.
16. Perform effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treat everyone with respect.
17. Take ownership of own work and behavior, accept accountability for own actions, encourage solutions, and communicate status of work/projects.
18. Follow all department quality standards/criteria. Raise concerns and issues to immediate manager.
19. Able to understand and demonstrate Cambro company culture, display company core values (Safety, Quality, Respect, and Service).
20. Understand department’s key performance indicators and contribute to achieve these goals both individually and as a team.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Must be able to remain flexible and open to possible schedule changes in order to meet business needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Must have organizational skills, interpersonal skills, be a self-starter, and have the ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
3. Must be able to do simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
4. Must have previous warehouse management system experience, i.e. AS400, SAP, Prism, etc.
5. Must have previous stock picker and sit-down forklift experience and be able to operate a forklift safely.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bilingual in Spanish.
2. Currently forklift certified.
3. Experience with Prism, Intermec, and/or AS400 system.

7. Face covering (mask) in accordance with company policy.

COMPENSATION RANGE: $18.04 - $22.00. Salary may vary based on experience.
