Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking an attentive Patient Access Associate to support patient check-in and discharge processes on the evening shift at 75 Francis Street.

You will collect and verify patient demographics and insurance information, explain policies, schedule appointments, process payments, and enter data into our systems. Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient patient check-in and discharge process by providing excellent customer service, collecting patient information, verifying insurance coverage explaining policies & procedures, and handling patient questions.

Essential Functions
  • Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information, as well as enter information into systems

  • Handle patietn questions, concerns and issues, while escalating any complex or difficult situations to patient access senior staff or manager
