Responsibilities

  1. Perform general administrative support duties related to patient intake for outpatient clinics.
  2. Interact with patients at the front desk and over the phone to facilitate check-in/check-out, gather demographic and financial data, and schedule appointments.
  3. Collect co-pays, co-insurance, and prior balances.
  4. Obtain and process referrals, authorizations, and pre-certifications for procedures.
  5. Work with patients to fulfill referral needs and verify insurance coverage.
  6. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy practices.
  7. Provide excellent customer service to all patients.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of customer service experience required; healthcare or call center experience preferred.
