  • Ability to learn the hospital telephone system, including relaying calls and calling hospital codes when relieving the hospital operator.

Job Description

We’re looking for Patient Access Reps who are excited to support patients throughout the registration and admission process. In this role, you’ll perform specialized clerical duties related to registration for outpatient testing, pre-admission, and full admission of patients from the Emergency Room, Outpatient Departments, and hospital admissions. You’ll also notify insurance companies of admissions, obtain pre-authorizations for outpatient testing as needed, and complete tasks assigned by the Department Manager and Department Assistant Manager.
