Job summary

Conifer Health, part of the Tenet family, seeks a Patient Access representative in Manchester, NH. You will perform scheduling, registration, pre-admission and admission tasks, collect complete patient demographics, and secure accurate information while following hospital standards.

You will educate patients on financial liabilities, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, perform cash reconciliations, and support post-discharge coordination to ensure a compliant, high-quality patient

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year in a Customer Service role.
• 0–1 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred
• Some college coursework is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and register at date of service; collect complete demographic information; explain and secure required hospital forms.
• Educate patients about financial liabilities and perform proper patient liability collection; conduct cash reconciliation per policies.
• Verify insurance, benefits, coverage and eligibility; obtain authorizations; coordinate post-discharge care as needed.
