You will verify insurance, collect co-pays, and coordinate with providers to ensure smooth scheduling and accurate demographics in the registration system.

Responsibilities

• Meets with patient and/or caregiver to exchange necessary information and documentation, explains visit, and addresses questions.
• Communicates with referring provider's office or clinical departments to exchange information and determine schedule.
• Verifies insurance benefits and obtains pre-certification/authorization as needed.
• Determines and collects payments including co-pays and deductibles, or refers to financial counselors; ensures accurate registration data.
• Performs duties with attention to accuracy, speed, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
