Job summary

Conifer Health is seeking a Patient Access representative in Worcester, MA to support intake, scheduling, and registration at the point of service. You will verify demographics, collect patient liabilities, and ensure compliance with financial policies and payer requirements.

Responsibilities include educating patients on financial responsibilities, processing registrations, and obtaining necessary authorizations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year in a Customer Service role.
• 0–1 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred
• Some college coursework is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, register at date of service, explain forms, and secure consent.
• Educate patients on financial liabilities and collect payments per policies.
• Verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and coordinate post-discharge care when needed.
