Temple Health is seeking a Patient Interviewer to support Women & Families, ensuring accurate and efficient registration for hospital services. You will gather and process registration, billing and related information from patients in Admissions, Outpatient, Radiology and Emergency Department, verifying insurance coverage.

The role emphasizes delivering a positive patient encounter as the first impression of the hospital and may involve reviewing registration flow with patients and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 3 years experience in Patient Access.
• Knowledge of insurance requirements, insurance verification, and third-party billing.
• 3 years experience in a related role.
• TUH/TUHS training/internship may be considered in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures patients are correctly and efficiently registered for hospital services.
• Gathers and processes registration, billing and related information from patients in Admissions, Outpatient, Radiology and ED.
• Verifies patient insurance coverage and benefits.
• Reviews registration process and flow with patients and families.
• Promotes a positive patient encounter as the first impression of the Hospital.
