Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year clerical and customer service experience.
• Preferred: 3 years medical office clerical exp, medical terminology experience, exp w ICD 10 codes.

Responsibilities

• Register all patients with Meditech for service at URMC.
• Interview patients to gather demographic and financial data.
• Obtain Medicare MSP information, inform about Advance Directives and Patients Rights.
• Obtain signatures for consent to treat and for other release forms, in compliance with hospital policies.
• The role supports front desk operations and billing processes to ensure accurate patient information and timely service.
