Responsibilities

  • Registers patients by preparing records, reports, and notices.
  • Discusses payment arrangements with patients or relatives as needed.
  • Collects payments and provides receipts; posts charges and payments daily.
  • Contacts insurance carriers for precertifications and billing details.
  • Maintains patient charts, registers, and office equipment as needed.
  • Keeps the clinic area clean and organized, supporting business office procedures.
