Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a Patient Access Representative to perform pre-registrations and registrations for in-patient, out-patient and emergency care. The role also handles order management, charge capture and cash collection with accurate data entry.

The position requires 1–2 years in healthcare registration or related customer service, with knowledge of health insurance concepts and strong data entry skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of registration, scheduling, patient accounts, or customer service in healthcare.
• Knowledge of health insurances, medical terminology and anatomy is desirable.
• Strong data entry and keyboarding skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-patient, out-patient, ER, urgent care and same-day surgery pre-registrations and registrations.
• Manage order processing, charge capture and cash collection, with accurate medical information entry.
• Screen for third-party eligibility and enter coding to secure payments.
• Interact with patients and families to explain revenue cycle expectations and payment options.
