Job summary

Endeavor Health Naperville is seeking a Patient Access Representative to provide accurate pre-registrations, registrations, and billing-related data entry for in-patient, out-patient, ER, and same-day surgery patients.

The role requires a high school diploma (associate preferred), strong data entry, knowledge of health insurance, and customer service experience; bilingual skills are a plus. Full-time hours Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays; competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of registration, scheduling, patient accounts, cash collections or customer service in healthcare preferred.
• Knowledge of health insurances, medical terminology and anatomy helpful.
• Strong data entry and keyboarding skills; familiarity with patient data systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-patient, out-patient, ER, immediate care and same-day surgery patient pre-registrations and registrations.
• Handle order management, charge capture, cash collection and related data in medical information systems.
• Screen for third-party eligibility and ensure accurate payment with proper coding.
• Interact with patients and families to explain revenue cycle expectations and payment options.
