Job summary

Kingman Healthcare is seeking a Patient Access Representative to manage patient registration, verify benefits, obtain pre-authorizations when needed, and ensure accurate data entry in the electronic health record.

You will handle copays and payments, balance daily cash, support the patient experience, and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to cover patient access coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year in customer service or office setting.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills; proficient with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Pre-register, register, schedule, reschedule, and discharge patients according to guidelines.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; obtain pre-authorizations when needed.
• Collect copays and payments; balance daily cash and complete cash logs.
• Enter and update patient data in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Support department efficiency and participate in process improvements.
