Responsibilities

• Register and pre-register or admit patients accurately and efficiently.
• Verify active insurance eligibility.
• Assist patients with financial aid options (Medicaid, HCAP, Charity).
• Generate patient estimates and collect copays and balances.
• Explain payment options and post payments at service.
• Perform Medicare medical necessity screening and ABN handling.
• Complete required forms (HIPAA, general consent, etc.).
• QA accounts and provide feedback to educators.
