Job summary

Franciscan Health Crawfordsville Campus in Crawfordsville, Indiana, seeks a Patient Access Representative I to support preregistration, registration, and patient financial counseling. Qualifications

Preferred Associate's Degree.
Required High School Diploma/GED.
Required Professional/Vocational/Trade Training.

Responsibilities

Interview patient and family to obtain registration information and enter correct data.
Enter insurance policy number, group number, address, and telephone numbers and patient billing data and clinical data.
Verbally interview patient and/or family to obtain registration information.
Identify patient liabilities, obtain pre-service payments, counsel patients on payer financial waivers, and process co-payments collections.
Identify co-payment procedures and fiscal procedures related to registration procedures.
Complete computer and telephone pre-registrations to maintain patient flow.
Full-time, Hours Monday - Friday 6:30 am to 3 pm and every other weekends.
