Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and 2 years of related patient financial/insurance/registration experience.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and medical billing.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• CHAA certification required within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic and financial information.
• Explain CMS No-Surprise Act estimates, projected out-of-pocket costs, and payment options.
• Monitor and support registration work queues; perform claim edits and account-level reviews.
• Liaise between patients and internal departments to resolve issues and questions.
• Conduct interviews to complete the registration process for inpatient, ED, ambulatory clinics, labs, radiology, and infusion procedures.
