Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Pool Patient Access Specialist 1 to perform patient interviews and collect registration information at the point of entry. This role ensures accurate demographic and financial data and processes forms in accordance with department policy.

The position requires basic computer skills and customer service experience; hospital or medical office exposure is preferred to support smooth patient flow and timely collections at visit.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent education is required.
• Minimum of 6 months customer service experience is required.
• Knowledge of computers and standard office equipment is required.
• Medical office experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Interview patients presenting to the hospital to obtain registration information.
• Complete required forms during registration.
• Ensure that all demographic and financial information is obtained, completed and processed per department policy.
• Ensure that patient collection is conducted at the time of visit.
